Gabriel created Oakland Partners in London in 2007 to deliver M&A and Financing services for European High-Tech companies.

Prior to Oakland Partners, Gabriel was Venture Partner at Fidelity Ventures (now Eight Roads Ventures) in their London office where he was involved in the Teliris investment in Video Conferencing ($40M).

Prior to Fidelity, Gabriel was Manager of the European M&A and Investments team of Cisco Systems Inc. where he was involved in transactions totalling $8B, such as: Tandberg, Digiquant (Denmark) acquired by Intec, Riverhead (Israel) acquired by Cisco, Job Partners (UK), Meiosys (France) acquired by IBM, VirtualLogix (France), Index Ventures III Fund (Geneva) and Kiss Technologies (Denmark) acquired by Cisco, Skype…

He also built acquisition and investment strategies for Video, Building Automation, VoIP, Wireless, Video Surveillance, Storage, Software, Data Centre Virtualization and Cyber Security.

From 1998 to 2000 Gabriel was Manager in the European Communications Group of Oracle Corporation for EMEA. Customers included Alcatel, Nokia, Siemens, France Telecom and SFR.

From 1996 to 1998 Gabriel was Manager of the IT and Communications offering of Capgemini.

Gabriel holds a BSc in Economics and MSc in Information Technology and Management at UPEC University in Paris.

Gabriel speaks French, English and Portuguese.

In his spare time, Gabriel likes to play tennis, golf and to go scuba diving.
